Hey everyone! Now that applications have been out for a while, has anyone started the process of applying for the Yale GEPN program? I hope that your applications are going well if you have! Also, if there are any current GEPN students that happen across this thread, if you have time, feel free to share your experiences in the program and any tips you may have :) Thanks!
Hi CaitlinC90 and biologyonthebrain! I am also interviewing for AGPCNP on January 25th!! I'd be happy too to meet up. I know we have to be there at 8am, how could we make something work?? Who is interviewing you both?
Hi mmarra, I am also local, about 40 to 50 minutes away from campus. I would be happy to meet up before or after the 25th. As for the day of, we won't have much time to get together, but it is likely we will have similar schedules since we applied for the same specialty. If you would like to meet up or arrive early on the 25th, let me know. mmarra and biologyonthebrain, feel free to email me at [email protected].

Can you expand a little more on what it is like with that commute and the GEPN schedule? How was that for you?
Hi Everyone! Quick question to all the current students about their interview attire. Does everyone wear a blazer?? I'm a female, and ill be honest, blazers do not flatter me, so I am tentative to wear one for the interview but so many people say its a must!
I showed up to Penn's interview without one, and I fit in just fine (I wore a nice button up and a cardigan over top). As long as you're dressy/ business casual, you'll be fine.
Hey guys, i ended up booking a hotel near campus since i never heard back from the current students. Theres an extra bed so if anyone wants to split the cost then shoot me an email at [email protected]. Its $50 and im just staying the night of Feb 1st.
Hey Everyone!Former GEPN and current 1st year Acute Care student! Happy to answer any questions about the program /moving to New Haven!
Hi! I'm applying for the same track and crossing my fingers they'll accept me! How was your first year there? Did you receive any financial aid? Also, do they allude to how they'll prep students in the acute care program for jobs where most NPs work as RNs before?
Thanks in advance!!
