It's probably too soon to start this thread- anyone else out there?

@mgh26 I will be interviewing on the 23rd. I live in California but I am 90% sure I am going to fly there and do an in-person interview. Good luck to all who got interviews!!! And to those who did not, just stay positive. Yesterday I got a rejection letter, today I got an interview at Yale. There will likely be more of both for all of us. It's just about finding a school that values what you have to offer.
I just found out I am interviewing on the 23rd! Congrats to everyone else who has also gotten an interview! Is anyone else considering a phone interview? I live in California and I am not sure if it will be possible for me to fly out as I would have to miss 3 days of work as well as 2 classes. However, I would much prefer to interview in person. Anyone else in the same boat?
Hey! I am also coming from Cali and I will also have to miss 3 days of work. I've decided it's worth it to go because I've never been to the campus, and I'm hoping that the activities planned during the day will give me a good feel for the school and whether I could picture myself there. I figure it will be my only visit there and I also prefer to interview in person. I'd say that if you can make it in person, it might be worth it! But I definitely understand --it's a long way for us to travel, especially with responsibilities back home.
Nettles724, I am also from California, and I'll probably end up doing a phone interview. My Yale interview is scheduled for 1/23 at 1pm, and I have my UCSF interview at 8am on the 24th, so it might be risky to try to be physically present for both interviews. Anyone have secret teleportation powers to share with me? :)
