It's probably too soon to start this thread- anyone else out there?

Has anyone's application status page changed? Mine is still the same with the green checkmarks, etc.
Hi mzaur, my status page still reads exactly as yours does. Does anyone know if the first year GEPN is considered undergrad for financial aid purposes? mzaur, I came across one of your posts on another thread and you mentioned something about how some direct entry programs consider the first year as undergrad and that there's a limit to the amount an individual can take out in financial aid stafford loans for their undergrad education. Do you know if that's a lifetime max? Or is that for individuals who are still paying back their stafford loan when they enter the GEPN program? I received a stafford loan to help pay for my undergrad tuition back in 2002 but have since paid that off along with my other loans. So, I will be entering next fall without any previous student loans pending payment. Any info you might have would be appreciated. Thank you! :)

GEPN students are treated as graduate students the whole time for financial aid purposes, so you'll be eligible for graduate stafford and grad plus loans -- stafford loans do have a limit (which is separate from the undergrad limit) but grad plus don't.
Since I hit my undergrad loan limit (55k) due to doing a post-bac, I cannot apply to some programs which count the first year as undergrad (U Penn, Columbia, Rochester, Northeastern, OHSU, and maybe some others).
