Yale GEPN Applicants 2011

It didn't look like there was a thread for 2011 Yale GEPN applicants. Since the application recently opened, I thought I'd start a thread to see if anyone else is starting to work on their application.

Anyone else out there?

has anyone not received a letter or call yet? i was told by admissions that decisions couldn't be given over the phone, but now it seems everyone else is receiving phone calls. worried this may be a bad sign...

I'm deciding between Yale, Vanderbilt and Emory...all great schools but with different program formats. Is anyone deciding between these schools and have any thoughts?

It was great meeting many of you this past weekend at Columbia! After recieving my financial aid in the mail (from Yale), I have decided that Yale is the best place for me. For those that need to take out additional loans, what are you thoughts on Private vs. Federal? The federal rates seem kinda high (7.9%)...

what kind of YSN scholarships are people seeing, just out of curiosity (may be too personal, sorry, just forget i asked.. but i saw an interesting thread going on this last year)? i was surprised by mine, which was $8200 or something.

I haven't received any financial aid information. Did everyone receive it with their acceptance letters or in a second mailing?
