I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm glad the semester is over. I'm happy to report I did well in Microbiology and A & P I. 2 prereq's down and 2 to go. I have an interview for my second choice school on Thursday. Happy Holidays to everyone!

2 - A's in A&P I and Lifelong Development. Uh, 50 correctly spelled bones out of 600, lol. And a freakout psychology instructor who didn't listen to her own notes.
Things are looking brighter now, think I may need shades :yeah:

I know I have at least a B in my anatomy class. I had enough of a cushion from my other tests that I could afford to fail today's test. I sort of lost interest in studying for my last test after I found out I got accepted into nursing school. They only require me to maintain 3.0 gpa which shouldn't be too hard. Now I can really celebrate the holidays!!!

Done done and more done! Moving on to NS in January and so so so glad the pre-reqs are over! For those of you waiting on notes, I should have things more together toward the end of the week-ish. I haven't forgotten about you...just been studying like a fiend! Sadly, I don't know if all the studying in the world would have prepared me for my Stats final...but I'm trying not to think about it too much.
Happy Holidays!

I got an A in A&P 1 as well as in my math class. I'm just going to relax as much as I can and glance at my notes once in a while. I'm taking A&P 2 next semester along with an upper level math class. I'm on campus right now and requested to have my transcripts ready to send along with my nursing application in the beginning of January. I feel pretty confident and I'm not wasting any time with anything.

Congratulations to you all!!! :yeah: I got a B in Chemistry and an A in Human Life Span Development. This semester was a real confidence booster for me because I'll be taking AP I and Micro in the Spring. I've already started scanning the AP websites so that I can get a jumpstart on studying for next semester. I know this course load will be much harder to manage while working a full time job.

Today was our final exam in A & P II, but I still haven't quite captured that sense of "it's over" yet. We already got the results of our test, and I got a 87% (mind you, that was with 7 extra credit points that I arguably didn't deserve). I had quite a cushion from my performance on the other exams, which made it SOOOO hard to really study for this one. Ah well. An "A" is an "A," I guess. Even though I calculate my average at over a 94%, I'm not sure I'll fully feel at ease until I see the grade posted by the teacher. Odd, I know, but that's just me.
A&P II was really just plain brutal. Very similarly to a previous poster, I graduated with a 4.0 GPA in Psychology, taking only the bare minimum for science requirements. I NEVER worked so hard for a "A" in all four years of getting that degree. This semester I kept thinking to myself, "isn't this a community college?". Granted, it probably had a lot to do with the teacher (which would explain why our class size dropped by about half in the course of the semester), but it still had me a bit freaked out. If this was this hard, will I also have a hard time in nursing school?
I've only been taking one class at a time because I work full time as a social worker, and next semester is Intro. to Chemistry. I'm hoping maybe that class will be a bit more manageable. This semester really almost killed me!
Also, I just wanted to give a shout out to everyone on this site. I really appreciate all the support. It is so nice to know that you aren't alone in this journey.
Hope everyone has a relaxing and enjoyable holiday.

I finished A&P1 today and I am excited and ready for a little break. I can apply to my nursing school now and I hope to get into the Summer program. I don't know my final grade yet but I know it's at least a B. Thank you for all the support.
Happy Holidays
