Is it possible to take 4 classes in summer 2009?
I'm going to be taking three classes this summer too, but they include patho, so it's going to feel more like 4. We can do it!

Anyone get a C in A&P?
I don't think it matters where you take it as long as it is accepted by your nursing program. For example, my nursing school accepts A&P but I have to take plain physiology as well. I took A&P at a community college, BTW, and it was outstanding!

WOO HOO ! The semester is over!
All A's in Micro, Micro Lab, A&P & Molecular Cell Bio. WOO-HOO!

International Nurses in the USA
Just keep at it -- it will get easier after a while. We all need to think about what it would be like to live in a foreign country where you are learning the language. Do you have a coworker with whom you could meet occasionally (like over lunch) to clarify some things?

Been accepted for Fall 2009? Shout your good news here!
Yes! Fall 2009 is when I start my ABSN! Can't wait!

Back to College after 20 Years
Hey everyone! Add me to the list too -- I'm back to school at age 44. I'll be entering an accelerated BSN program in Fall '09.
-
should I take MicroBiology before Anatomy and Physiology?
I just took them together and found they dovetaiiled nicely.

Advice for an aspiring CRNA?
While it's true that most schools have a minimum 3.0 GPA, they usually take much higher gradepoint averages because competition is fierce and spots are few. Hopefully your math/science GPA is good? Aceing nursing school might bring you up -- I would definitely plan on it. Good luck!

Microbiology and Chemistry
I took Chem before Micro, but it didn't really seem necessary imho...

One of 45! Yippee!
CONGRATULATIONS!
-
tuition reimbursement
HCA Midwest will pay for my entire accelerated BSN at Research College of Nursing + 15 hours of prereqs at Rockhurst University if I sign on to work at one of their hospitals for 2 years.

Drowning in chemistry
Just want to add -- "be good to yourself." :icon_hug:

Drowning in chemistry
OMG, that is a full plate; and I'm so sorry about your Father in law. I can totally understand how devastating the D is. How many tests do you have over the semester? JMHO, but I tend to think this isn't the time for Chemistry for you. You have too much stress at one time and Chem is one of those classes that requires a load of studying. I would seriously evaluate with the prof and a counselor if you do decide to stay in.
