Wolford college CRNA Spring 2018

Published

Anyone attending wolford college spring 2018 class?

I wonder if they will be admitting new students. It seems as it all they got was an extension of their probation period.

That is disappointing that others have to look elsewhere. I feel bad for those that got excited after being told they were accepted, too. I hope they at least refund my application fee as I applied a couple months ago and I don't even think my application was processed. Applying to schools is expensive

I just called Wolford college and they said there has been no official decision made yet. Where do you get this information, BigpapaCRNA??

Any updates on the status of this program? On their website it appears they are accepting applications. Wondering if I should apply

Why would you want to attend a program, that you are not even sure is up and running?

Looks like they merged with Keiser University for both their MSNA and DNAP. That will likely take care of their regional accreditation problem.

Try to get in somewhere else. This school, if still open, should be an absolute LAST resort option if you cannot get in anywhere else...

Anesthesia school is stressful enough, and this program has had so many issues I'd be very hesitant if I were you.

They are now under Keiser, but have not yet been approved by Board of Education. They're actually accepting people even though their program's existence is tentative :/

Surprised to hear they are open for business. If my interviews at Duke and U Penn dont go well I will probably apply here, despite all the bad vibes and such. "Beggars cant be choosers" LOL. After all you know what they call the guy who graduated last in medical school.... Ive heard this is a last resort type CRNA program, kind of like those carribean medical programs, but i think its all what you make it in the end!

If they achieve a relationship with a college with regional accreditation it might be worth the risk. Otherwise it's not and I think you're going to regret it.

Do you think that the Name change to Keister University will change their less than stellar reputation?

I hope to get into a top/ivy leauge school but I just know I could get into this of type of program (I have great experience and creds (RRT for 1 year, amazing airway skills)). I just need to know if there is big trouble in clincials and with academics...

Actually it's not about reputation, you can overcome that if you're really good. If they are not regionally accredited you can never overcome that no matter how good you are. Your degree will never be recognized by other colleges.
