What percantage of your time is devoted to wiping butt? I am thinking about going into nursing and would appreciate some input on this issue. Thank you.

Hey, regardless of the OP's history or financial concern, I don't see the problem with asking the question. I think it's completely a fair question to ask if someone is interested in nursing. Have you met anyone who LOVES to clean up BM?

Yes, but this person (from posting history) doesn't seem interested in nursing at all - rather just in "doing time" as a nurse in order to move onto greener pastures.

Very little. Luckily the only butts I wipe are under 1 year old.

Sorry but I haven't done a time study on it. Does it really matter? If it needs wiped and I'm not tied up, I wipe it.

It isn't the percentage of the "butt wiping", it is the reason. To provide care and comfort to a person that needs that help. If someone taking care of me doesn't want to do the "butt wiping" then they don't care anything about me and they don't need to be in the biz
