Chare did a great job answering this. I hope that puts it to rest.

maam i sorry for this but i was just unhappy so thats why i was no call no show. i shouldnt have to work somewhere that im unhappy camper.

It is called being a grown-up. If you don't like your job, you don't like healthcare, and I don't even think you like people, maybe you should find work sitting in a cubicle pushing papers all day. You should not have people's lives in your hands. Nursing is not for wimps and cry babies.

Are you for real? Just about everything you do is against company policy and you are questioning if you report gossip?:nono: You need another profession as you obviously can't be professional with this one.:(

OP: The more of this I read, the less I believe it's true. Are you playing a game of truth or dare? This is ridiculous.

She isn't the issue.

It is never a good idea to burn your bridges behind you. Unless you live in an enormous metropolitan area, people know each other. Managers and directors of facilities network all the time. All the other issues you've mentioned are bad enough, but being a no show and never returning to a facility is a kiss of death on a "career."

My 2 C is to learn from this and do better the next time.

I agree, I think we all should stop reading and posting on anything from him. None of it sound legit.

The OP seems to be positive choice challenged, and hopefully he'll grow out of it. I'm sure we've all worked with people who are lazy and have horrid attitudes. I don't think we really have to worry about him becoming an RN--that would require fortitude, so if he ever gets there certainly he will have matured a bit by then. No worries, folks.

To the OP, I think there's a far bigger problem here than your job: if you really want to succeed in life sometimes you need to suck it up and do what you don't like to do. You also need to lose the impunity--it won't get you anywhere.

You can go to HR if you want, but reality is that people can date whomever they want. HR is not going to care about a nurse sleeping with a doctor. No one cares except you. Consider that, and use all this negative energy to improve your life, maybe get some therapy, and go to college.

To the OP: The world's smallest violin is playing "My Heart Bleeds For You" :uhoh3:

Would it really have been too hard to give 2 weeks notice if the job was that bad? And yes, I was a CNA, too; it's rough...but then again, you should have known that you weren't signing up for a high-glamour job!

even though i hated that job this one nurse told on me for going to sleep and i heard a rumor she was messing around with one of the married doctors. can i use that to call human resources on her. i was going to quit anyway but i hate when someone snitches like that. just my 2 cents.

It sounds like pointing the finger to call attention away from ones own mistakes. (Never mind what I did---look at what she did!!)

Passing on rumors when someone reports a violation of company policy only shows what type of character a person has.
