Why do Threads here get moved to the "Members Only" section?

Ive noticed that some threads Ive posted in get moved to the "break room" and then I can no longer post. Just wondering why they get moved if they were originally posted here?

Well, I didn't pay for the premium features - except for the election threads, I rarely use them.

I joined because I believe in supporting that which I find useful and entertaining. This site affords me hours of pleasure and education every week.

:yeah::yeah:I believe that we know from the title that this is a nursing forum. Of course, you meet friends here that continue outside of this arena, but the owner wants this to be focused on nursing. I support this site because it has been instrumental in my nursing growth...I can get ideas how to deal career issues from senior nurses all over the world. And, of course, I am entertained by some of the threads and comments made since I have been a member. In addition, I finally got access to my beloved pens...:heartbeat

It doesn't seem quite fair to me either. I mean why pay to talk about non-nursing issues? I don't care to be a premium member but I feel bad for those who cannot afford it. :rolleyes:

Although this MB is for entertainment and educational purposes, it is a business aeb the premium memberships and popups/ads. Nothing wrong with it, because after all, we live in a capitalistic society. The originator is hoping to make money (and is perhaps doing quite well). Truth is that there are 100s or even 1000s of free message boards that have to do with nursing, sports, collections and other hobbies, so if you can't afford a membership on here (which is perfectly understandable) your options aren't limited. Regardless, the free portions of this board are excellent resources.

Now...shouldn't this thread be moved, since it's not nursing related? :chuckle
