Everyone say that they "consigned" a drug waste? Well, of course not everyone, but a whole lot of folks on here do.
Shouldn't the word be co-signed? Or have I been wrong all these years? To me, consign is what you do with your used clothes in a consignment shop.
A lot (a large amount (lot is a pronoun) or as a noun--particular group, collection, or set of people of things)
Allot (as in allotment. Give or apportion to someone as a share or task. It's a verb)
Alot--a mythical creature (created by Allie at Hyperbole and a Half)that is a cross between a bear, a yak and a pug. He's a way to deal with a compulsive need to correct other people's grammar. (It's also an actual town in India)
But you can have a lot allotted to break the lot down into smaller pieces. Such as dividing a lot in terms of property for sale. Most refer to a lot as in a large group of ____.
Or you can just go visit the alot here:

Thanks for the Monday mooring laugh! Reminds me of the time our kids were singing "Stop! In the Name of Love" to us on our anniversary. Our 5 year old insisted on changing it to "Stop! In my neighborhood, before you break my heart! Roll on oooovvver." We never had a performance that bought us to tears of laughter and nowdays remember her of that as often as possible :)
Do I need to consign metropolol? Supposably not, but when I was conversating with some work colleagues one of them said when she was being orientated she was told she had to.(there are 5ish errors in those sentences...)
Uh oh, not the "orientated" discussion again. Plus it's "metroprolol" or "metropole."
