Who's Back ?

My first day back after Christmas break.......ugh !! Last night I was in a Funk, but getting here and back in the saddle has actually been no problems.

Happy New Year my School Nurse friends !!

I'm back today. Anyone else seeing a lot of back-to-schoolitis??

Yesterday was a crazy first day back. Multiple new meds without orders, the kids were "off the wall", staff issues..ugh.. Today is still busy but a bit better

I was back yesterday for staff work day. Students back today and right off the bat...... unlabeled inhaler, pills in a pocket, "My knee has been hurting for 2 weeks and my mom did nothing."

Sure miss my recliner and Netflix!!!

I'm back and the first dealing was almost immediate.

A Mom says: "My kids have been c/o for 2 weeks that their heads are itching. Can you check them?"

We have been out of school for 2 weeks. 2 weeks.

I think I'm going to go apply at Starbucks. :banghead:

Awww, come on Mom! 2 weeks?? Get it together. That's awful!

I left here healthy, was sick the entire break (even admitted to the hospital, for Christ's sake), then return perfectly healthy. What is up with that??
