That's right; this semester is over and it's no longer in my hands! :yeah:I'm officially playing the waiting game! I've done all that I can and all that needs to be done. The school's acceptance letters go out in March so I'm on here looking for someone, anyone on here who might be in the same boat as me and who wants to jump into the pool and swim with me as we wait for our numbers to be called!
So... anyone out there?
CONGRATS CarolinaHurricaneFan!! You must feel such a sense of relief!
futurenurseNC- I just had my interview for WCU's ABSN program today- I think it went alright, but it's always hard to tell when you're talking to a panel of instructors! They asked a couple questions that I thought were tough to answer- just did the best I could. I didn't want to sound too "reheorificed," so was just myself. I'm relieved to just be done with the whole process for now. They said we should know by the 2nd or 3rd week of March.
Good luck everyone!!!
I GOT IN! I recieved my acceptance letter from East Carolina University Alternate Entry-MSN program (MSN program for students with a degree in non-health care field) this past Saturday! I was freaking out at first b/c it was a normal sized envelope thin envelope which normally indicate a rejection letter but it was that much hoped for acceptance letter! All the hard work paid off! Needless to say, my wife, son and I are really pumped. We're rooting for all of you here as well! Thanks to everyone for the kind messages during this process.
Good for you!! I'm excited for you and your family! Nice to see a fellow future male nurse join the ranks!! Congratulations and work your butt off in nursing school!!
I'm hoping for the exact same news either in March or April; needless to say, the suspense is killing me!!

Congrats! I hear ECU has a wonderful program :) Have tons of fun!
I'm playing this horrible waiting game as well! Ahh....I hate this wait...I feel I have no purpose being done with all my pre-reqs classes.. WAT NOW? I've applied to two places...one cc and one csu. I have to redo the test next month...and turn in the final packet in April. I find out next month if I get accepted to the csu "itself" (not the nursing program yet...b/c I still have to enroll to the school). :SIGH:
I'm studying for the teas as I type this. I'm aiming to get a higher score. It was good enough for the cc...but not the csu. It could be worse....right? we just be starting our pre-reqs....as some are. I'm greatful to have come this far. Maan did it take forever! Just a lil' bit longer now....almost there!
