That's right; this semester is over and it's no longer in my hands! :yeah:I'm officially playing the waiting game! I've done all that I can and all that needs to be done. The school's acceptance letters go out in March so I'm on here looking for someone, anyone on here who might be in the same boat as me and who wants to jump into the pool and swim with me as we wait for our numbers to be called!
So... anyone out there?
I am playing the waiting game to the extreme. Since I am finishing up my very last pre-req (CHM) I cannot apply until May. And to add to my stress my school has a 2-part application process. I already had my checklist signed off on everything except for CHM and them on the last day of the semester I can submit my checklist to be completed and signed off and the school will mail me my application procedures and I have to have it postmarked by May 27th.
I am going crazy. It is so hard to be patient but I have no other choice. I have a 4.0 and I will have completed all of the pre-reqs as well as co-reqs by the time I start the program(hopefully this fall!). And I got a 92 on the Hesi. There is no reason why I shouldn't get in (My schools goes off test scores and GPA only) but I am still nervous and scared.
who else is playing the waiting game?
I'm applying to three schools: Drexel U (philadelphia), Georgia Highlands College and Kennesaw State U. Finished 2 apps and will have GHC's done by the end of the month. And then, just like the rest of you, I sit on pins and needles waiting for the letters to come in April/May. Good luck!
I applied to 2 schools so far.
Drexel's Accelerated BSN
Western U's Entry level masters
So far I had an interview at Western, but still waiting to hear back.
I don't think I got in though so I'm not getting my hopes up.
Counting the days here too, until mid March when the letters go out. I have only applied to one school (Mt. Wachusett CC in Mass), and this is my second attempt. Although I had all my pre-reqs done last year, I didn't have all the science "co-reqs" completed, so I just didn't have enough points to make it. I can't even imagine what I'll do if I don't get in--no plan B here, and I'm no spring chicken so don't want to put it off any longer.
Here's thinking happy, good-luck thoughts for all of us. :wshgrt:
I GOT IN! I recieved my acceptance letter from East Carolina University Alternate Entry-MSN program (MSN program for students with a degree in non-health care field) this past Saturday! I was freaking out at first b/c it was a normal sized envelope thin envelope which normally indicate a rejection letter but it was that much hoped for acceptance letter! All the hard work paid off! Needless to say, my wife, son and I are really pumped.
We're rooting for all of you here as well! Thanks to everyone for the kind messages during this process.
