Just checking in ealry to see who else is as anxious as I am to start in January. If you are still awaiting your acceptance letter, I know the feeling and I am sure it will arrive soon. So who else is starting in January?
Hello! Well this is my very first post ever. I just joined this site a few days ago. It is really awesome reading what everyone has to say. What a helpful site! I guess I thought I would throw out my good news and tell everyone I am starting nursing school in January. I have been accepted to two one-year Accelerated BSN programs and I am still deciding between the two. One starts on January 13th and one starts on the 9th. I suppose I will wait and see if I get any scholarships from either one first. Is anyone else out there doing an acclerated BSN program? I am super nervous because my bachelor's degree is in psychology and I have never worked in the medical field. I am sure it will be a shell shocker!!
I'm officially IN!!! I was number 11 on the alternate list. I was invited to orientation today and that's when I found out I got in. Actually, everyone on the alternate list got in PLUS there were a number of no shows on top of that. I guess a lot of people on the waiting list didn't want to wait around for 2 years or more.
My school is switching over to selective admissions starting this coming semester. That's how I got in even though I still hadn't completed micro and ethics yet. (I'm taking them now.) I was just lucky to be in the right place at the right time. I wasn't even planning to apply for this semester because I didn't think I had a chance. I dropped in the app as a whim! WHEEE!!!
So much to do and so little time to do it. Now, how do I keep focused on my micro and ethics classes? :uhoh21:

I might be starting in February. My application's only been in for a week and I'm already getting impatient to see if I'm accepted or not. I'm excited about starting a new chapter in life but not 100% sure about nursing yet so, very nervous.
