ahhhhhhhhhhh i dont want my break to end
If you have milk and bread and no power you can have cereal or sandwiches. I don't know where the eggs come in. BTW when I went to the store yesterday there was no rioting, but then the milk and bread were already gone. lol. luckily a friend of mine had just given me a fresh loaf of homemade bread. yum yum
I started my second semester today. During break I was sleeping till noon every day so it was hard... BUT... we didn't do much of anything. This semester we have med surg and a leadership class. We don't start med surg clinical for a couple weeks so luckily I can get back into it slowly Also we are expecting snow tonight and im in the south sooooo they will cancel class for sure if it snows!!! Don't get me wrong I love nursing but I am definately NOT a morning person!!!
Sandwiches and cereal. Hmmm. That would work if I kept cereal or lunch meat around the house. I didn't realize those items were such a staple for the masses. There's only so much you can do with bread and milk...
I keep gallon jugs of water in storage totes along with canned soups and boxes of rice for emergency backups. I've never had to use them, but they're there and I rotate the stash!
Maybe it's me being anal, but you should see the backup supplies of cleaning products that I have, lol.

My supervisor told me the other day that she can make anything with bread and milk. I'll have to see if I can get some of her recipes...

The snow we have in the south is of a different consistency of that in the north and other places. It's very tricky to drive in. We are also smack in the middle of the mountains so the hills and curves only add to the trickyness. If we would have had school today, I would have had to miss because there is no getting my car out of my driveway today.
And I don't really understand the whole milk and bread thing either.
