I start my second semester tomorrow also! I'm so not ready for this break to be over. I was sick for most of it, so I feel a little cheated lol. I have orientation tomorrow, clinical on wed, and class on thur and fri. There's no hope of snow here in Florida.

when they say turn it, they mean the tubing right before the bell. You should hear it click whether you are turning it to the right or left. When you have the ear pieces in your ear, lightly tap the end of the bell to see if it works, if not, then click the tubing the other direction. It's kind of hard to explain. I hope this helps :)

On lab days, we have khaki pants and a navy blue polo with the school name on it. For clinicals, we have a zip up white top with white bottoms and a white lab coat. We had to buy them from the school. They are hideous and expensive ($75 for a set), but they are super soft and comfy.

I got my bag in the mail this week! I love it! I got the Black frame with the Stealth bag(all black) lol I kinda wanted it to fit in with other bags, so I chose a "normal" color. Although, my friend who is starting school with me bought the aqua bag with brown frame. I have to say that her bag is very cute. We both love them and I'm sure they will last a long time.

I'm a new poster, but it has been interesting to read on some of these long threads people's journeys along the way. Especially the tread titled First day of Nursing School. There are a few people that kept up with it and provided many updates.

Eeek! I start on Aug 30 and I'm so excited/terrified/nervous all at the same time yet I can't wait! I get butterflies every time I think about it. My school had a year wait after all of the prerequisites, so I am more than ready to begin!

I ordered mine today and my friend is ordering one too! Yay! I went and bought all of my school supplies today and can't wait to put them all in the bag. :) lol I'm such a dork

Thanks Jackie! You responded quick and answered my questions! I'm pretty sure this is what I'll need for school. I guess if all my books don't fit, I can always stack my regular bookbag on top or just put it on my back as well. I start in August, and am really nervous/excited to finally be a nursing student. :)

I'm thinking about buying one of these myself, but I have only seen them online and can't really tell how big it really is. How many books do you think will fit in the main compartment? Will they fit flat, or do they need to stand upright? Will a laptop fit in the side pocket? Sorry for all of the questions, lol. I just want to make sure before I buy.
