  1. No was told that if you go the Ensley Health Dept you don't have to show proof of income. I know someone that paid only $2 per shot.
  2. Thanks so much Doublehelix!
  3. Thanks guys!!! I'm glad I'm not the only one feeling like this. I wish you all the best of luck :)
  4. I'm a single parent, so it going to really be a challenge. Thanks for the encouraging words :-)
  5. Hey everyone, I have decided to quit my job to pursue my dream of becoming a nurse. I'm a mom of two and thought that this sacrifice would pay off in the end, but now I'm starting to have my doubts. Any advice?
  6. If you go to the Ensley Health Dept, and tell them you have no income or if your income in low you shots will be around $2-$8 a piece.
  7. brighterfuture Congrats!!!! Which campus are you on?
  8. brighterfuture.... What campus did you apply on? It's very expensive. My uniform and shoes were $120.00. The background and drug screen is $74. I'm not really sure how much the shots are.
  9. up'n'coming you can purchase a drug test from any drug store. if your curious to know if it would show up that's always an option. i live in alabama and in our handbook we are required to advise of our status, however they can not discriminate against you, or turn you doing because of it. i pray everything works out for you.
  10. I'm a mother of two, and if this is what you want to do then you can. Just talk to your instructors, and they maybe able to work something out. Good Luck too you!
  11. I'm glad I'm not the only one. My three goals are to stay Hungry, Humble, and Holy. One of my friends just finished the program, and she provided tons of advise. The main thing is to surround yourself with people that want it as bad as you, and are willing to buckle down and study HARD!!! Good luck future 's
  12. My first day of class is August 23rd and I'm terrified. Am I the only one?
