white underwear under white scrub bottoms?

Hi!

I'm starting nursing school in august, and for clinicals we can't wear thongs or bikini style underwear!! Ah!! I feel like I have no options, and yes, they have to be white so that rules out flesh-colored underwear. Any suggestions? My white bottoms are basically see-through which is why I always wore thongs in the past, but those days are long over. What kind is your favorite to wear?

White leggings under the white pants. Then you can wear ALMOST any underwear you want. They're no fun in the summer though.

Flesh colored is hidden better than white undies. :eek:

Spidey is right..flesh colored is always better than white. sometimes you can get away with really pale pink too. but white on white (unless they are white pants under white pants) are a no no.

Spidey is correct. I have done the white underwear and the white underwear AND white leggings. Uck too hot!

Try flesh colored boy shorts. They might work

I really wish I could wear flesh-toned, but my school has a rule where they must be white :(

How can your school mandate the color of your undergarments, beyond stating that they cannot be visible through your pants? Is someone really going to check to see if they're flesh colored? That is the only way to go, white would be very visible and I can't imagine that would be the look they WANT.

Wow... I can't believe Universities are dictating what UNDERWEAR you wear! My program was NEVER like that. I mean, I can understand them being upset if you came in with green with purple poke-a-dots but to be so petty, flesh colored vs white, thats foolish! I'm sure that there are other issues that they could waste energy on... geesh!

My Lord, they are dictating panties now. ( I understand for modesty though. I'm sure you would have some roll up in clinicals with polka dot pink thongs w/ the white scrubs.)

I second the boy cut whities.

I start clinicals in the fall. I would like to thank God right now, our scrub bottoms are maroon.

Can't imagine why they would require white which is totally visible vs flesh toned which is invisible unless it's their way of checking to make sure you are indeed wearing underwear. :) Crazy.

An after thought, can you imagine the disasters they've seen in the world of scrubs and underwear, that they would have to make this a rule?
