I am wondering which Saunders RN review book to puchase, the 3rd ed. or 4th? I have failed the boards and it has been 6 years. Wondering which you think would be the best. I believe I've read that some thought the 3rd was better than the 4th even though it was older. Please help! Thanks!

I would suggest the 4th as it will provide the most current info.

I too would suggest the 4th as more up to date on the different styles of questions plus any errors in previous books should have been rectified

4th edition. The info is up to date and it's just like the boards

I have the fourth edition, it comes with a really good CD that helps with in depth practice tests.

In addition to getting Saunders 4th ed, see what NCLEX books are available at your local library.

Just like mostly everyone said get the 4th edition cause of the more updated stuff.. i would suggest the kaplan nclex review also.. use the saunders for questions and knowledge and use the kaplan for strategy on answering all types of questions... the book has a cd too for a practice test...
