:hhmth:.......I love these things......

Here is a real one for the new grads....

This sounds like some of the conversations I have with my classmates who assure me they are going to go right out and find the job they want, at the hospital they want to work in. I just heard someone say it yesterday, "If I'm not going to work in the NICU, then I'm not going to work. They couldn't pay me enough to work in Med-Surg". Now, that, is truly funny!!!

This just made me bust out laughing!! This is GREAT! I have had this conversation more times than I can count! lol

Love it. We should post this link everywhere and anywhere we can.

There's definitely a nursing shortage, but that doesn't mean places have the money to hire. I imagine nursing is still doing better than other college majors. Crappy economy changes everything.

Oh that has me in tears. Of course there's a nursing shortage, I just don't know where and what it means. Here's what happened in my experience as an LPN. During the last months of school, most of my fellow students had jobs lined up while I didn't, because receiving full time active duty pay as well as baq plus the first installment of my enlistment bonus upon graduation meant I could take my time finding a job. By the time i graduated I had received numerous phone calls from DONs and HRs in the area inviting me to visit with them so they could show me what they had to offer. I accepted a job with another sign on bonus without ever having actively sought employment. Now that's what I call a shortage.

while this video can be true for some people in some places, for various reasons, any rn who really really tries , can and will find a job, and while its true there is no longer a nursing shortage, nursing homes LOVE rn's for real, they get a bad rap . but a paycheck is a pay check

Someone read my subconcious and made it funnY
