Which is it? Coolest and most glamorous nursing jobs

I'm betting that this particular post will cause a stir. But I'm curious which nursing profession is considered to be the coolest or most exciting or over all glamorous job in the nursing field. Is it Flight Nursing, TCVPO, Cath Lab, ED, etc.

Don't ask me why I'm just wondering.

Nursing = glamorous!?! :roflmao: You have got to be kidding...

Considered by whom, by the way? I have to admit that I don't feel particularly cool at work, but I do enjoy my job (anesthesia). I prefer to keep the excitement at a minimum since that means my patient is doing okay :)

Edited to add: I actually don't only enjoy my work, most days I love it, but.... glamorous and cool it is not.

Excited nurse macawake: has rock climbing and parachuting as hobbies.

Cool and glamorous macawake: wears this season's little black dress, four-inch heels and a spritz of her favorite Christian Dior fragrance.

Nurse macawake: wears hideous but oh, so comfy scrub.s, paired with equally hideous genuine Swedish clogs and garishly patterned and colored compression socks while taking care of sick, injured and scared patients.. Oh, and bodily fluids... Glamorous you say ;)

The coolest is the one that pays the most. I work from home in my jammies.. making 100K. I am very glamourous in my jammies.

I suspect OP was hoping to start a catfight with everyone duking it out for the title of "coolest." Unfortunately he went a bit too far with "most glamorous" and tipped over into ridiculousness.

I was feeling very glam last week at work. I was helping the CNAs shower a combative resident. He tried to pinch my backside and then said I had a "luscious behind" :)
