congratulations!!!

wow i'll be taking the NCLEX RN and i only have 6 days to go.. what did you do 6 days before exam? :bluecry1: what materials did you use? ......

I answered questions from the Saunders NCLEX CD and reworked case studies from the Prioritization Delegation and Assignment book mentioned throughout this forum.

The day before I went to yoga, got my eyebrows waxed and ate sushi for dinner. Just before bed I went over lab values and a few things I wated to refresh (only 30mins worth). Then night, night.

My exam wasn't until 12:15, so I ate a good breakfast and took my time getting dressed. I arrived early for my exam, but was able to begin upon arrival.

You will do great, just remember how far you have already come!

Good luck and let me know how you did.

Thanks to all for the congrats- It feels GREAT!!!

Specializes in Medical and general practice now LTC.

Congratulations

By the way, for you, are the actual NCLEX RN questions more difficult than Kaplan Q banks? coz im really worried about by scores, im getting around 60% average (68% max).. :scrying: also only did like 300 questions on saunders and i dont have much time to finish all 4000 questions..

Your Kaplan scores sound about average to me. Most people in my class scored relatively the same. I personally did not use Kaplan as much.

Saunders-I started studying a week and a half before my exam. I averaged about 275+ a day give or take. I did work completely thru Cardio to Integumentary because I started at the begining then realized I didn't have time to finish them all. So I did - my weaker topics like pharm and fundamentals going back and forth doing 100 at a time here and there. During my school terms I Saunders to study with so I was already using it prior to NCLEX.

I felt my nursing program gave me a strong base; so I didn't feel the need to do more.

Each of us is different and we had different programs. It's important to know where you are and go from there. Be confident in what you know and work hard at your weaknesses.

Study hard and you will reap your reward. Don't forget that prioritization book; it was also VERY helpful.

goodluck!!!
