just curious?
It might change once I do my rotations but what I envisioned is L&D *thinking of maybe eventually becoming a nurse midwife* or ER or Trauma. I know placed I for sure DO NOT want to work in. I suppose that might change but I highly doubt it just knowing me. To start though I would work a year or two in Med/Surge to get comfortable with Nursing in general before going to specialized areas. Than when I am older I want to do Plastic Surgery so I can get discount. HAHA Only half kidding
i went into nursing school thinking er, but now im leaning to oncology:redbeathe. i have no interest working on peds. i'm glad to hear other ppl saying "just wherever i can get a job" b/c that sounds like my area too. i have this awful feeling that i try not to think about that the nursing shortage era is coming to an end. wonderful news to the american public, bad news for new grads

Labor and Delivery, Mother-Baby, or NICU....I want to be a midwife but would like to get a couple years experience in Labor & Delivery under my belt, before applying to grad school for my MSN & CNM.
