When do you start schoo... and what do you want done BEFORE you start?

Aug. 18 for me.

I got the carpets cleaned, the outside of the house-washed. Washed walls in living room, bedroom. Want to get the storage room (aka-junk room) cleaned, but don't know if I'll get to it. LOL.

Then when school starts i dont think about it until mid way through and think.... gotta get it cleaned... but KNOW I wont until finals are over! :Roll

I don't start until Sept. 22! Gives me lots of time to work and earn some money, have some fun and finish painting the inside of my house. Painting is not so fun, but my husband and I have been wanting to do it forever. Have fun all :0)

I start radiology school on August 18th and I can not wait! My goal is to get my house spic and span, kitchen organized, laundry washed, fridge stocked up, and alot of casseroles in the freezer! My husband is also going to be back in school so i won't have him to lean on as much as far as housework goes, I guess we won't have company over for a few years, but I think I can live with that! :)

Wow.. August 18th... that is SOO soon!

I think Im going to do up some lazagna, casseroles, ect... for the freezer too. That sure would help out!

My husband will be starting radiology school as well. He is still doing his pre-reqs right now part time and when I am done with nursing school he will start the actual 2 years (he is getting his bachelors) of radiology.

So we will both be in school (me full time, him part time) and our oldest will be starting kindergarden (half days here which means only 2.5 hrs a day) and I will still have my youngest (20 months) at home with me during the day.

Anyways, do you know of any good radiology sites online you could pass on??

I start Sept. 2nd. I plan on getting my study area all set up and working as much O.T. as possible, to try and pay my bills a little ahead.

I start Aug. 23 (a Saturday!). It is a 2 year RN program. I also want my house clean and a couple chapters read out of each textbook before I start.

I am with all of you that say clean your house from top to bottom. I have a growing list of things that I have to get done before Aug. 25th (the day our classes start). I would love to have the oil changed in my car, garaged cleaned out, lawn in decent shape and some meals frozen for those nights you do not have time to cook. I been hearing so much about the Echo Heron books that maybe I will throw in one of those before I get started too.

there are a few radiology message boards that I sometimes post on. One of them is http://www.radiography.com and another is http://www.auntminnie.com There is also a group in yahoo groups, but it isn't very active. None of these message boards are as active as allnurses though, so I usually "hang out" here. I am hoping that after I get my AS, I will be able to go back and complete my BS through distance learning. I already have a BS that is pretty worthless, but I am hoping to maybe go into radiation therapy after getting my RT license. My husband is going back to school to finish up some classes he needs to become a meteorologist (!) its what he has wanted to do since he was like 6 years old.

I am so excited to be starting school! We start clinicals in October and I am sooo looking forward to be wearing all white uniforms (NOT!) Anyway, thanks for letting me blab about my school! good luck to everyone else starting school!

We start back Aug 20th and I would very much like to have my house back in order before I start up again...but doubt it wikk get done as well as I want it. I will most likely spend most of my time working with my horse, Rain.

I start on August 25th.

We just built a new house...AND had a party this past Satursay....so THANKFULLY my house is very clean!! YAY!!! Of course, in the next 2 weeks I still have to finish moving and UNpack half of our stuff. I also have to repaint the ENTIRE interior of our old house (we're renting it out) by August 15th when the renters will be moving in.

So..... I SHOULD have 9 days between the 15th and 25th to have an actual "summer break!!" Oh, that's right...that's when I have to find my nursing texts and read the chapters/do the assignments for the first day of class.

UGH!! Maybe NEXT YEAR I'll have a "summer break?!?!?!?!?!
