When should I apply for a student nurse PRN job?

I want to apply for student nurse PRN jobs, but I don't know when because of the requirements. I have to complete my freshmen nursing curriculum, but can I apply towards the end of the semester while completing the courses, or do I have to have my transcript with all courses completed before I apply?

Actually each hospital is different. Some of them hire student nurses after only completing 1 semester of nursing school, and some require you to have completed 2. You'll only find this out in the job description when the hospital posts openings.

You can apply towards the end of your semester, but most likely they will need to see a copy of transcripts once you are hired

Check the listings as requirements vary! The one I worked for required you were at least in a clinical but preferred those who had already completed their first clinical.
