When Do You Start Fall Semester?

My Fall Semester at my Georgia school starts Monday, August 20th, and I'm in my last week of solitary relaxation (my kids started school this past Monday the 13th). I was curious to see if there's a big difference in start dates in different areas. Care to play? Where are you and what is (was) your Fall Semester start date?

My Fall semester starts August 18th. I am in Illinois.

My fall semester starts September 5th, I'm in MD and attend wor wic CC. I'm taking microbiology, math 092 (non credit course), ENG 151, and Nutrition. I'm applying for the nursing program in spring. I get the letter of whether im accepted or rejected in late October, admission is based solely on GPA of nursing pre reqs.

Our semester starts August 27 in Pensacola... I just finished Intro to Philosophy and Intro to Literature this summer semester... Looking forward to the 2.5 weeks off, but I've already started to dive into my Nutrition textbook...
