Have you spent so much time looking for gifts for others that you haven't had time to make a list for yourself? Hopefully, together we can create a list to help you find the perfect gift for yourself or another favorite nurse or nursing student. Read on...
I remember being the first nurse on my block to get a 1986 Nurses Drug Handbook and I was overjoyed. The most available drug reference resource in the hospital was the PDR, which could also be used as weight in the trunk of a car for when it snowed.
The Nurses Drug Handbook had all sorts of useful information and was easy to use and read in comparison to the cumbersome PDR.

I'm looking into getting my coworkers some sort of night lights that are wearable for night shift. Those seem particularly helpful.

Tell them you are from allnurses.
Christmas is the season of giving. We've all been busy at work for many months giving of ourselves to our patients. And now, as we are in the midst of the holidays, we are extra-busy checking off our "to-do" Christmas list, including gift-giving.
What about you? What's on your Christmas wish list for yourself or for a loved one who is also a nurse or a nursing student? We've all seen ads galore for new gadgets, many targeted "just for nurses". What is on EVERY nurse's Christmas List this year?
Let's see what kind of Christmas list our allnurses community can create for the perfect gift(s) for all nurses and nursing students. Duplicates are fine as that will help shoppers know what are the most popular gifts to consider. Also, post why you like a particular gift.
Come on. Let's help those who are in need of some shopping help and also help nurses know what they might like to add to their own list for Santa.
