Hi, I was wondering about some of those weird names that you've probably encountered in L&D and PP. I remember when I had my maternity rotation a couple of weeks ago, one of the nurses said she remembers a patient that named her child Placenta. I couldn't believe it that some child has to live his life named after disgusting afterbirth!
Ummmm don't know how true these are but this page cracked me up and made me think of this thread:

I do know that Rusty K. was an actual baseball player, and Harry Baals was a real dude...can't really vouch for the others, though.
I wasn't fully awake this morning when the name, "Bean" suddenly went through my head. I have no explanation for it.
birth announcement in the paper:
gary green bean
mom's maiden name was green and dad's name is bean.
i have my mom's maiden name as my middle name but that one is just plain weird, if you ask me.

1. Ra-a (pronouced radasha)
2. Abcde (pronouced ab-se-dee)
3. Female (pronouced fe-mall-eh)
i must be hungry! radasha made me think of radishes.
heard a good one in the supermarket yesterday
Da'Girl
yes i asked how she spelled it, seems like she has many brothers...
How about twins- I'm dead serious about this- One mother named her twin boys- L'rangejello and L'monjello. (that's right- orange jello and lemon jello)
Here parents used to call their kids Primo, Secondo, Terzo (First, Second, Third).
Nice and straightforward
