What are YOU taking Fall semester?

Just thought I'd start a thread about the classes all of us will be taking this Fall... maybe we can start our sticky support groups early. Lol... j/k. I am really excited though.:w00t:

I am taking:

Freshmen Writing Composition (aka: Writing for Special Topics):yawn:

College Algbra:stone

Biological Science I w/ lab:roll

Introduction to Sociology:yeah:

How about you?

I am moving on up too.....

Finally, after all the work I get to start Nursing classes. I am jumping up and down :lol2: and throwing up:barf01: on the inside at the same time.

NURS-B 230 Developmental Issues in Health

NURS-B 231 Communication Skills for Health Professionals

NURS-B 232 Introduction to the Discipline of Nursing

I am also finding it strangely hard to say good bye to the pre-nursing discussion forum. I feel like a baby birdy about to fly from the nest. Let me practice flapping my wings :thankya: :thankya: .

Hey stpaulie (and fellow Texan!!)

I think that your classes sound much better!! Mine are all the entire semester except for clinicals, which starts in October. I am dreading Pharmacology the most. I don't have med-surg at my school, so I don't guess I will have that fear!!! Unless they call it something else!!! I wish we had a crash course for Pharmacology!! Sure would make things much easier. I hear that class is the make or break you class :o Hmm, guess we will see!

Know that we are in the same boat on our scaredness!!! Is that even a word?! Anyway, I'm sure we will do just fine. After all, many have gone before us and made it. Are you going for LVN, RN or BSN? I am working on RN right now with plans to go for an MSN.

You are right, others have done it and we will do it too. We just have to think positive. WE CAN DO IT, we are strong, strapping TEXANS :lol2: Yeeeehaa (You know that I am originally from Germany and was transplanted here a few years ago?) I think maintaining friendships with people here and forming new ones in nursing school will help us through ;)

I am with you on leaving here! It is tough, because for a year now, this forum has been my second home!!! I guess we can keep on in here as support for the little birdies!!! Because soon enough, they will be joing us in the other forums!

As far as the :barf01: , I know how you feel there, also!!! One minute, you feel like screaming from the rooftops with joy, the next, you feel like hugging the toilet!!! For me, the hardest daywill be August 19, the day before school starts! I'm sure me and the toilet will become best friends on that day!!! :uhoh3: :lol2: :uhoh3:

I am taking College Algebra, Microbiology and Art Appreciation online. Hopefully I will apply in September to the ADN program although I have heard rumors that they are not going to accept application til next year.

Although I have never been to Germany, I do have German in my bloodline. Does that count for anything?!? :lol2: Well, I am glad that you are here and doing so well for yourself. And like you said, we are strong, strapping TEXANS, so we ought to be able to get through anything!!!

I will definitely give you a heads up on that week that I start, although you will have Pathio, which I don't have to take until I go for an MSN. Wow, you are getting the tough ones ought of the way aren't you?!? Good luck with that one, also.

Chemistry (retaking to turn a B into an A)

I am also taking the Hesi in Aug, and applying to Brookhaven, Trinity Valley, and maybe El Centro's LVN program in Jan as a back up.
