i guess i will have to be posting in the nursing student forum after this because i too will start nursing school!! my classes for the fall will be:

health assessment

pharmacology

clinicals i

foundations for nursing practice

i am most nervous about the pharmacology. i hear horror stories about it!!!

Well I am done all my pre reqs, but I will need a communication to graduate, its only a short term class online so I'll be taking that aug-october. I have also signed up for Spanish, I don't "need" it for school but I know I'll need it for real life (I live in Southern Ca). However I am still not sure I will go through with taking it because I am kind of thinking I don't want to do any studying in the fall so I can be refreshed for January when I hopefully get into N.S Also I have 3 kids and I would like to give them all my time this fall volunteering etc in classes, its my daughters last year at elemantary school and this past year I was very scarce and would like to make up for it.

thats the class i am must excited about i love the drugs lol. i love to know what they do and why and i am always guessing when someone is prescribed something why they were. they touched on pharmacology in micro with antibiotics which blew my mind i never realized why so many different types etc...boy i miss that class.

I think we're all a little scared. Heck, I'm scared and I'm not even starting NS yet! But if your heart is in nursing and you try your very best, you will succeed and be a great nurse! Keep your head up girl! You can do this!
