Hello everyone!
I took everyone's advice and signed up to volunteer at a local hospital. Orientation is this Tuesday and I'm wondering what to wear. I'm volunteering for the hospital/university I hope to go to nursing school at so I want to make a good impression. And what should I wear for the interview?
Dress as you would to an interview!! Simple jewelry, professional hair style, NO JEANS...oh a closed toes shoes!! If you wouldnt wear it "inside" the hospital near patients....DONT WEAR IT!! I volunteer @ my local hospital we had a 3day orientation & they were sending people home (employees, volunteer, whoever) who did not fit the attire. Good Luck though & hang in there it will definitely pay off.
Okay :) will do. A comment up above confused me. Thanks for clearing it up. It's better to be over dressed than under anyway. I researched a bit on the internet and everyone suggested dark jeans and a nice top, so I'm glad I asked here.
Depends on what look you're going for. I personally don't see nothing wrong with wearing high-heels, leopard print dress along with red leggings underneath. Also, don't forget (VERY IMPORTANT) to wear lots of makeup - you need to impress those doctors as much as possible! Now go get em'.
Please DO NOT wear leopard prints! Although this is a volunteer position, it could be a potential employer in the future. You don't want to ruin your chances by dressing like you came out of a "Jerseyliscious" episode. And please, keep the make-up very simple. Again, this is a future potential employer not a club. Good luck!

I believe "Johnny Depp" was being sarcastic.

And a push-up bra -- hell, wear two! Everyone appreciates cleavage!
