What to wear for volunteer orientation?

Hello everyone!

I took everyone's advice and signed up to volunteer at a local hospital. Orientation is this Tuesday and I'm wondering what to wear. I'm volunteering for the hospital/university I hope to go to nursing school at so I want to make a good impression. And what should I wear for the interview?

Orientation went well! I'm even more excited! The volunteer program is much better than anywhere else in the area and they seem to genuinely like having the volunteers around to help. And i get to choose where I work! I was the only one dressed professionally! Everyone else was in shorts/jeans and a t-shirt. Oh well. I guess it just sets me apart from the rest. thanks everyone for the help

Believe me, the hospital staff will respect the fact that you put in the extra effort. Regardless of what other people decided to wear and whether or not the hospital staff permitted it, I can assure you they appreciate your professionalism.
