What does your username mean?

Let's do something fun! Everybody on allnurses.com has a very interesting and unique username. What is the back story of your username? Mine is just like it states, "Life's a Journey!"

Mine is FluffyEwe, inspired by a sweatshirt I saw many years ago. It had a picture of a sheep, with the words, "Ewe's not fat, Ewe's fluffy"

My name is FutureNurse1982 because, I am hoping to graduate from nursing school May 2012 (FutureNurse) and I was born in 1982. So, I just put the two together and thought it was cool...Plus, I have to represent for the 80's babies all the way!!..:bugeyes:..I plan on changing it once I graduate..

My former user name was AreWeThereYet. When I first joined allnurses, my main topic of interest was the distance learning program I was working my way through. It seemed all of us posters on this subject had this journey in common and this goal at the time - graduating from the program. Thus the name AreWeThereYet. At some point I had trouble logging into my account and thought that if I changed user names and login info it would help (which it didn't - though I finally got the problem straightened out with the help of allnurses tech folks). That's how I ended up with Grapenut. I happened to be eating some wonderfully sweet grapes as I was working on this and I'm not very good at thinking up user names.

Wow. Mine is soooooo predictable. My dogs are Sophie and Bob, and the kids are my niece and nephew... although now there's a new addition with my cat, Baby... Hmmm.. that's just too many names!!

mine is a combo between songs from 2 of my favorite bands. U2 "City of Blinding Lights" and Black Stone Cherry "Big City Lights". I just put them together. the "89" is my birth year.

My family likes Star Trek. My kids and I used to watch Star Trek: The Next Generation and Deep Space Nine. Anyway, one of our favorite alien species was the Ferengi. The name "Moogie" is an affectionate nickname given to Ferengi females, usually mothers or wives, but most Trekkers associate it with Quark and Rom's mother, Ishka, who was the first Ferengi feminist and the Grand Nagus' lover (later his wife).

Luckily I married a Star Trek fanatic. My husband knows my username and thinks it's funny when I call him the Grand Nagus, but he really likes the Klingons more than the Ferengi.

I'm a veterinary technician. Not only am I covered in hair all the time, I'm "Fuzzy" in other areas also. Like when the client was picking the nipples off of her male dogs thinking that they were ticks.

I worked for GM for 21 years. I had always aspired to finish college (I was pre-med in 1986 for 1 year, but it didn't work out with my family--long story), but I stayed with GM until my son was in high school because the hours and wages were predictable and he was my priority. I finally quit GM in 1998, but didn't end up back in college until 2001, and finally graduated in 2007 after changing majors twice.

When I joined allnurses, I couldn't think of anything too creative right away but needed something quickly, hence GM2RN.
