What does your uniform look like?

Published

I just got my uniform the other day, and went with my friend to get hers yesterday...

We have white Landau tops and lab coats, and Caribbean blue Cherokee pants:

We also have to wear all white shoes...leather sneakers are recommended, and shoes with holes in the top such as Crocs are not allowed.

It's not bad as far as uniforms go...but it's not the best. The tunic top looks awful on me because I have a short torso, so it just engulfs me...but oh well.

What do you have to wear?

What does my uniform look like? A TENT! :p

We had to order Dove Apparel scrubs: white tops and a white jacket with green pants. They are quite expensive and very bulky, but I have heard they're indestructible. I guess we'll see! ;)

Landau navy blue pants with the front seam and elastic waist. Navy blue top from Landau. White lab coat. Tops have patch with school name on it, and our names and student nurse embroidered on it.

You poor poor people.

Ours are black top and bottom. Our nursing Dept Logo is embroidered in gold on the left breast pocket. We can wear any type of bottom we want. Even ok'd to wear EMS pants if you want to.

Our uniforms are Galaxy Blue, top & bottom, with a white labcoat & shoes! I'm glad we got away from white, we are the first class to wear the new color.

You must be at the same school as me (Calhoun). This is the first year we get to wear galaxy blue instead of white and a white lab coat and white shoes. Oh yea don't forget the dorky white socks.

My uniform is navy blue scrubs by Landau. Then there's a white lab coat that I've only worn once.

All white. And we aren't allowed to have sneakers they must be nurses shoes.

Ugh.

Do you happen to go to BC3?

I'm surprised by all the white.. I feel like I dodged a bullet!

Navy blue, any style, any brand. White shoes without mesh.

If I could pick any scrub color for clinicals/work, that would probably be it. :)

Man, I didn't realize our program was so strict until I read this thread!

We have to wear very specific scrubs. Only one particular top made by Landau and one particular bottom (also Landau) in white and wine, respectively. Ugh, and the pants are those really bad front seam elastic waist pants, and the smallest size looks so wrinkly and unprofessional on me. I recently realized that my school's admins are the only ones that care about the uniforms being so strict; the clinical instructors could care less (and don't even know the rules!) so I just got some cute Urbane scrub bottoms in the exact right color (low rise, drawstring and flare bottoms). My waist is much happier now that it's not being squeezed all day from that dumb waistband. Aaahhh

I didn't like it either until one elderly woman on a unit lit up when I walked into her room. She said, "I love all your white uniforms. You like like angels!" and clasped her hands together as if I actually was :saint: Now I don't mind so much :redbeathe

I have to wear navy blue scrub pants (straight leg only), white scrub top or white polo and navy blue warm up scrub jacket. I like the get up minus the cardigan. I'm swimming in it so when I wear it along with the pants I look like I'm wearing men's pajamas.

We have to wear white polos (long sleeve or short sleeve) that is embroidered with school logo, white lab coat with an embroidered patch with school logo, navy blue tapered scrub pants, and white shoes.
