Something to understand what nurses think about re the Current News and their opinions!

I'm not sure if that guy is still alive or if someone is pulling the corpse's strings from above the screen. The brain cells are certainly not living anymore. Interesting that he places a new Russian AR-15 in the hands of the IRS...maybe those are Russians controlling the mouth movements of Grassley since he's so up to date on new Russian weapons:)
As Alaska Warms, Fires Burn Over (and Under) More Wild Land https://nyti.ms/3K9HbpR
QuoteA bewildering stew of factors, from spikes in intense lightning storms to a buildup of flammable grasses on thawing tundra, is driving the surge in wildfires across America’s largest state. Faced with the rapid warming of the Arctic from climate change, people living in Alaska’s fire zones are bracing for the likelihood that this year’s blazes are merely a glimpse of even larger megafires to come.
Six of the 10 largest wildfires in the United States this year have burned in Alaska. Several are still smoldering, raising fears over what are called “zombie fires” or “sleeping dragons” — fires that appear to go dark with the arrival of rains and snow, but actually slowly burn close to the ground through Winter and erupt again in Spring.
Until rains began drenching much of the state in July, more than 550 wildland fires had torched three million acres statewide — more than the total acreage burned this year in the other 49 states combined, and nearly three times the annual average for Alaska over the last decade.
The fires were driven in part by a severe drought in the south central region of the state, where more than half of Alaska’s population lives. For the first time in recorded history, temperatures in Anchorage went above 60 degrees every day in June, and the city received near record-low precipitation.
Murkowski is campaigning on the new legislation that addresses climate change while Alaska Republicans call her a RINO.
Graham Ordered to Appear Before Atlanta Grand Jury Investigating Trump https://nyti.ms/3c5HnKf
QuoteMr. Graham’s lawyers have argued, among other things, that he should be shielded from testimony under the Constitution’s speech and debate clause, which bars questioning of members of Congress about their legitimate legislative activities. They argue that he made the phone calls to Mr. Raffensperger as part of his work as a senator and a former chair of the Judiciary Committee.
But they were unable to persuade the judge that they had enough of a case to earn a stay. She noted that there were “multiple areas of proper inquiry” in the case that were not related to Mr. Graham’s work as a senator.
And the judge agreed with Ms. Willis’s office that waiting for his appeal to be resolved could cause serious delays and potentially have a negative effect on the special grand jury’s work — particularly when it came to revealing “new categories of information and witnesses, thereby compounding the total delay and hampering the grand jury as it attempts to carry out its investigation expeditiously.”
It was part of the Senator's work to call election officials in other states?
QuoteNow the crisis is becoming evident within the country’s health care industry, with 40 percent of health care workers indicating they felt anxiety or dread about going to work. Nearly half, 49 percent, also said they are either at their breaking point or looking for a new job due to the stress and trauma they endured while working in healthcare.
That’s from a report produced by All Points North (APN), a mental health company, that interviewed 1,000 U.S. health care workers aged 22 and older. Noah Nordheimer, founder and CEO of APN, said the results indicated an industry, “that’s been slow to respond to the growing demand for behavioral health services and often treating mental health as secondary to physical health.”
Even more alarming, APN found that over the last three months, 1 in 7 physicians admitted to consuming alcohol or controlled substances at work — and more than 1 in 5 said they consumed alcohol or controlled substances multiple times per day.
However, 1 in 5 health care workers said they have checked into rehab or a detox facility in the last three months.
APN noted that there are serious barriers to seeking help, with nearly 1 in 3 health care workers indicating they are too overworked and don’t have time, 23 percent are concerned colleagues and family will judge them, and another 23 percent said they’re afraid of getting their medical license revoked.

Hypocrisy 101 for the Republicans.
Or is it the hypocrisy of the democrats critizing Republicans for wanting to "defund" "dismantle " the FBI when so many said the same in 2020 regarding police and did?

Hypocrisy is complaining about that chant after police killed another unarmed black man... slowly while people watched ... and then chanting to defund the FBI after they execute a search warrant to reclaim government secrets from the republican political candidate for president.
That is the epitome of hypocrisy ... doing the very thing that you whined about 2 years ago.

Wanting to defund entire police departments because of an atrocity committed by a police officer in crime riddled cities = okay?
Using a highly specialized law enforcement agency to inact political agenda defunding = not okay?
Government secrets? In Mrs. Trump closet? Right.......Classified documents that were declassified by the person who can declassified and did? Right.....

Do you wonder how much of the legal heat that Meadows will take for Trump's chaotic leadership style?

I’ve always thought “defund the police” was flat out dumb. Subsequent clarifications modified the proposal considerably. Subject for another thread.
”a politicized agenda”? Are you suggesting that the law doesn’t apply to trump?
Yes, government secrets. And trump’s claim that they were “declassified” with no changes in the documents’ markings or notification of any staff involved with the handling of classified documents is impressive. His magic wand must be a lot better than mine. Or was it simply a focussed thought passing through his “stable genius” brain? (Which, BTW, is the definition of magic. Wonder what the theocrat wannabes think of that!)
He didn’t “declassify” squat - merely claimed to have done so when it became clear that neither the national archives were not backing off and that his year-long attempt to keep them was over.
Besides, none of the charges listed in the warrant require that the mishandled documents be classified, so what’s your point?
Wait for it …

Hahaha
Who used the FBI? Are you asserting that the FBI had no legal reason to execute that warrant on Trump's property? If so, the judge in the case and the majority of legal experts disagree with your assessment.
It appears that you have swallowed this latest Trump excuse for hoarding secret documents in his resort closets... that Trump somehow had a standing order for declassification of documents that none of his staff seemed to know about. I wonder how many people will believe this ridiculous claim before moving on to the next phase of denial... that Trump was simply protecting those documents and the National Archives should be thankful to him.
How many Americans are that gullible?
