Nope, sorry, not buyin it. There are a lot of things I'd like people to do that wouldn't cause any harm. But, the world doesn't conform to my wishes, and nor do I expect it to.
Keep in mind that one seldom even hears what pronouns are used for him or herself. If one feels the need to introduce him or herself with a preferred pronoun included or includes it on a email signature,, that person is often seeking attention, imo. Even more so if the preferred pronoun is they or them.

Attention is the point. You don’t need to approve of us or understand our lived experience, but you don’t get to pretend we don’t exist. Mis-naming another person is profoundly disrespectful.
Why does respect for differences scare you so much?

They are protesting a Republican running for governor. I don't care who they say they are affiliated with those are Democrats.

We are not required to suspend reality and science to cater to other people’s delusions. Should they be treated with dignity and humanity? Of course.

How about changing the meaning of Critical Race Theory from an economic theory taught in graduate school to indoctrinating grade school kids to hate their race.
