Something to understand what nurses think about re the Current News and their opinions!
QuoteA Justice Department investigation into Hunter Biden's business activities has gained steam in recent months, with a flurry of witnesses providing testimony to federal investigators and more expected to provide interviews in the coming weeks, according to multiple sources familiar with the matter.
CNN covered this story today. To be honest, I haven't been following the story much. It provides a good overview of some of the issues but leaves me still a bit confused.
Hard to believe there isn't something shady going on with Hunter Biden.
I went over to Fox News because they are fond of covering this story. Their main headline this morning is about Will Smith. They have five stories about it. This is the most important thing happening in the world?
Anyway, yesterday the had a story about Hunter Biden allegedly getting a 100,000 payment from Chinese business people.

You did here about the Trump phone call, didn't you? The one that led to impeachment hearings? Funny how many are unaware of what led to that phone call.
Most haven't been following, because the original story was censored by the MSM and Big Tech.

And, his father was involved. The elder Biden literally bragged about his involvement.

For those who take time to understand and instead of reflexivly dismiss it, it's actually not very complicated.
According to this study, a significant number of excess votes were cast in 2020.
"Lott, who runs the Crime Prevention Research Center, said that his report was not meant to overturn the 2020 election but to reinforce the need for changes to voter identification, absentee voting, and provisional ballots.
“The point of this work isn’t to contest the 2020 election, but to point out that we have a real problem that needs to be dealt with. Americans must have confidence in future elections,” he wrote."

I'l confess the NY Post to me just didn't seem a good source to get information about Hunter Biden. How is it that they of all organizations had exclusive information and the smoking gun. I did click your link, and it wasn't new news to me and I wasn't one of those that dismissed the Hunter Biden story reflexly but didn't use NY Post for my information.
Their headline today, like Fox News, is about Will Smith. They are not a source I got do ever. It's an important story because Smith is known to not like Trump and is part of the much disliked "Hollywood Elite".
That's a good article about mainstream media's issues with publishing information they don't necessarily want to believe. Still the Hunter Biden story was out there and not censored but obviously wasn't a big of deal as it was on Fox and NY Post, so point taken.
The timing of the Trump phone call I think is what's suspect. He became concerned about Hunter Biden only when his father became a serious opponent to be drug down. But if bringing attention to Hunter Biden exposes criminal behavior it's fair.
The reports or claims never intend to provide actual proof of election fraud or to actually overturn any results...the various claims only intend to question the validity and trustworthiness of American democracy to benefit Trump and whomever needs to claim cheaters stole something from them after they lost an election. The intention is only to cast doubt among conservative voters...it doesn't matter if there is substance or evidence, it just needs to sounds titillating to the voting base. The intention is simply to convince people that they shouldn't trust any election results where republicans don't want them to trust them.
Meanwhile, the leader of the Republican political machine asked Russia for help again with his American political agenda. Trump, once again, sought out right wing media to circulate right wing conspiracy theories and prove that, yes he is comfortable encouraging foreign interference in American elections.

Speaking of, liberal press Rolling Stone has some interesting takes on the Will Smith incident.

QuoteTrump also made clear this wasn’t just an off-the-cuff comment, saying again, “I think Putin now would be willing to probably give that answer. I’m sure he knows.”
Clearly now would be a good time for Putin to give that answer to discredit Biden. But would we believe him?
He indicated that he would slow down bombing and lied about that.

I'm up here in Alaska amazed at the attention media is showering on this event. I didn't watch the award program so missed the slap in real time. Then I looked it up on Youtube. OK
The media loves this stuff...people disagree and that sells!

Well that's the thing about dangerous liars like Trump and Putin, they lie with impunity.

Indeed.
If one simply wants to understand the basic "story" about Hunter Biden's drug addiction or business adventures you can find readable reporting in a variety of credible media outlets. When one starts chasing the conspiracy theories they have to depend upon less credible sources for ammunition and corroboration...

The first original story says how they had the exclusive information. Are you sure you don't have anything new to learn?

Wow..SMH..."it wasn't a big deal" because it was censored, suppressed, or whatever. Big Tech made it so people wouldn't see it on social media, and the MSM dismissed it, mocked it, etc.
Joe Scarboutough's view on it at the time:

I've been thinking about how I've evolved over time, especially being somewhat of a middle of the road person. I say "humankind" instead of mankind, firefighter, congressperson, police officer, etc.
There was a brief period of time when I wrote womyn instead of woman because I hung around a some lesbian feminists but then I thought that was a bit much.
I've met only one nonbinary person. They had an interesting presentation of both sexes, female hair, no make up, men's clothing and ear rings. To me it kind of makes sense that their pronouns are they/them because the present as neither and both.
Most of the transgendered people I've met, and really it's not a lot, one couldn't tell their gender unless they told you.
Anyway, I wonder about the statement Beerman said accusing the left of "making a big deal....". I really have to wonder is it really the left making the big deal? Or is the the right because whenever the hear or see it, they make a big deal out of it. When Starbucks very quietly without making a big deal of it came out with a holiday cup, who made the big deal? Who made the big deal about "we can't even say Merry Christmas anymore". When Disney without fanfare changed some of their rides, without making a big deal of it who said "they are ruining the Disney experience". Who mocked Buttigieg for taking time to be with his newborn? When Penn State quietly decided to say 1st year instead of "freshman" who made the big deal out of it?
Speaking of who said "Pete Buttigieg can take his electric vehicles and his bicycles and he and his husband can stay out of our girls’ bathroom". Marjorie Taylor Greene. At least she said "husband".
