What was/are the 3 things that got/get you through nursing school?

Published

It could be a teacher, a friend, a electronic, a certain study habit. I'd just like to know. :yeah:

1. Coffee

2. Day planner

3. Sense of appreciation of the ridiculous.

First and foremost I don't know where I would be without my MOM. She currently just graduated from RN school after being a LPN for 18 years. She is my role model and never fails to help me if I need it and is always encouraging me to do my best. Secondly, I I didn't have the INTERNET I don't know where I would be. If you don't understand something in class Google it or find a video on YouTube explaining it in much simpler terms. Lastly, my ADD medication. I would never get a single thing done if I didn't have it!

My family's support, laughter, coffee and a good study group!

1. Beer

2. Beer

3. More beer.

3. My wall/phone calendar - without both, I'd be SO lost....

1. My LORD who never left me

2. My commitment to my family

3. And great professors and fellow students

All of these nursing/pre-nursing students and not ONE homage to the pen-obsessed nurses we are supposed to become?

1. Sharpies...many...in every color

2. My family

3. Re-runs of Law & Order: SVU ...Get me some Elliot Stabler for break time

1. Nursing school was easy, that was the best part.

2. Wife

3. Coffee

1. My Keurig, which loves me even at 3 am by making me coffee

2. My family/friends, even though they would not love me at 3 am

3. My ipad because it helps me get work done but also procrastinate on social media/Allnurses

1. My extremely supportive boyfriend (we live together).

2. My very supportive mom (also a nurse).

3. My dogs. :)

Specializes in Pediatrics, Emergency, Trauma.

1.Me

2.Myself

3. And I

:cheeky:

Not saying I didn't have outside support; I did the work that was needed to be successful; I took the tests; was in clinicals with myself and my cohorts; me and my cohorts had to interpret the coursework and develop thinking like a nurse.

Without me, none of the work in being a nurse was going to be accomplished. Just being honest.

1. Caffeine

2. My computer

3. My kids, they kind of keep me sane and make sure I'm managing my time well.
