man, i'm dreading my summer classes but at least they will be done and over with:
1. research for nursing (3 semester credits) 10wks
2. management & leadership for nursing (3) 10wks
3. colloquium (some environment class that everyone at my school has to have to graduate... only 6 wks thank goodness.. not that i'm not into the environment but i don't have time for extraneous classes!)(3)
the saving grace is that i managed to get them all in virtual classes so no 110 mile one-way commute this summer!! woohoo! i am just soooo not looking forward to the subject matter in those first two!

i'm taking research for nursing right now and it's a piece of cake. i thought there would be a bunch of papers to write but we have none. ours is only two credits though. i hope your's is as easy as mine!
Nursing 350 (Theory II) 4 semester credit hours 13 weeksNursing 351 (Clinicals) 7 semester credit hours 13 weeks
My semester starts May 3rd. Anyone else start this early?
Mine starts May 10.
I hope my Research class turns out like yours! Looks like we'll have several components if it's like she's done it in the past (unless maybe the shortened summer class will make her have to abbreviate something.. hope, hope...): weekly asignments 20%, exams (3)15%, literature review 15%, critique of research report 25%, research proposal 15%, power point proposal 5%, discussion board 5% was the breakdown for last semester (I was going to take it this semester if I couldn't get into a certain class, but I did so I dropped it until summer).
business policy & strategy
organizational communication
management information systems
human anatomy
human physiology
microbiology
the first three are to complete my bs in finance.
the second three are pre-reqs for nursing.
i'll be taking these classes at 4 different colleges.
no wonder my tagline says "wish me luck!"

First summer term (end of May to end of June) I'll end up taking two PE classes - something like fitness walking, yoga, swimming, etc.
Second summer term (July 7 - first week of August) I'll be taking my first nursing courses.
This is all provided I'm able to pass Chem this semester....
