What did you take Anatomy with

Published

Anatomy is a prereq. What did you guys take in the same semester? Im thinking about 3 easy classes like college success, marriage and family, etc. I want to leave math and other sciences for the fall.

I took A&P I with College Algebra and Ethics (fall classes)

I took A&P II with my LPN to RN transitional class (spring) and Micro during our winter intersession (held during the break between the Fall and Spring semesters)

I took a lot of my core science classes like Chemistry, Biochem, and Physics at the public university first, to practice and be sure they didn't effect my BSN's GPA. Once I was confident I had a handle on those, I took them again at the private university where I'm finishing up my BSN. It was a crazy lot of work, but it helped me.

Our A&P class is crammed together in one semester so it's 5 credits. With it I'm taking English, The History/Ethics of Nursing, and an Honors Seminar. I would take more classes, but that's all I have left of prereqs/gen eds/my minor. Spring 2016, Nursing School here I come!!

I took A&P I w/ Statistics and Sign Language (fall semester)

I took A&P II w/ Microbiology (spring semester, plus working as a nursing assistant)

It was very manageable, all A's :)

My school is different, so my anatomy is separate from physiology. So thats what i will be taking.

I think anatomy is totally doable with some easier classes, even with a hard class, but that's based on my own circumstances and experience.

When I took anatomy, I took it with microbiology, but I hadn't taken any classes in a few years and needed to get back into the swing of school...and it turns out I had one of the toughest anatomy teachers and the new one is apparently not as hard (just my luck). Those are also pretty tough classes, it kept me busy between those courses and working! Everyone in my anatomy course felt like they basically had to sell their soul to anatomy to do well. There's lots of memorization in that class!

I think it depends on your life/circumstances and what you can handle though. Some people were also taking chemistry and math courses at the same time (yes, they were going crazy by the end) and other people could only handle taking one class at a time due to other commitments.

I took A&P 1 in an 8 week format with English 101, Intro to Speech, Psychology, and Painting. This semester I am taking A&P 2 in an accelerated one day a week format with Printmaking, Sexuality, Sociology, French 101, and jazz band.

I did it with math but I like math. COMM, English or sociology would be great choices

I took anatomy with an anatomy cadaver lab, physiology, introduction to healthcare, speech, and ethics.

A&P 1, college success, intro to psych, English composition, Math 101, and safety and first aid with 2 kids and a part time job

Got an A, 3.9 GPA

But This semester taking A&P 2 with Micro and I feel like I'm drowning, but I think it's because this term is filled with family drama, I moved, car trouble, a GI bug the whole family caught...
