What to do this summer...

I posted about a month ago about camp nursing and decided to go for it!

I did some research and interviewed with a camp in Pennsylvania and they hired me for a 4 week session over the summer! As part of my payment, my 3 kids get to attend the camp also!

We are so excited! I imagine the work itself will be pretty similar to school nursing. They have 4 nurses to do rotating shifts and every 4th night on call.

My kids are practically drooling over all the activities and we will stop in New York City for a few days after camp is over (We gotta plan a meet up Farawyn!!)

I'm not a RN or anything like that, but is it possible a CMA can help a nurse at a camp or anything like that for me to do?

Does anyone know if there's a camp hiring Medical Assistants? I did that website too, but I wanted to make sure there's other places I can try.

I'll be back at Camp for the 14th year. It is a day camp 9am to 3pm. Also expecting my 12th grandchild! Can't wait.

I felt comfortable accepting a position with the camp I did based on how they presented themselves and because several employees I spoke with had been with the camp for 10+ years.
