What are you doing this summer?

I have the summer off except for NCLEX-PN. In September, I start RN program. I'm trying to decide what to do for the summer. I already signed up for several volunteer projects. Do you think I can learn French over the summer?

I am working a FT externship, taking an online community health class and studying for the PN-NCLEX. Oh - plus doing all the cleaning that I ignored all school year. I have to get the house cleaned during the summer so it can withstand another school year of neglect. Plus I need to spend some time with my kids and husband!

I'm taking Alg1, a CPR course, and doing my class orientation. I was going to take a class at the local hospital for a certification deal, but I think it falls on the same day as my school orientation.

I'm also getting a lot of family stuff out of the way. We took a big family vacation this past extended weekend (rented a cabin up in the Carolina mountains), are having inlaws and my parents come to visit and letting my oldest son go visit my parents, and getting doctors/dentist visits and house cleaning out of the way.

Taking a healthcare ethics writing class and statistics - maybe going to the beach in Mexico for a long weekend if we can swing it. Planning my wedding for next March :)

I am going to Jamaica to work as a missionary at a health fair in Montego Bay. I will be doing chem sticks, taking blood pressure and whatever else they need me to do. I am so excited to be part of many nurses and doctors that will also be going with me.
