I have the summer off except for NCLEX-PN. In September, I start RN program. I'm trying to decide what to do for the summer. I already signed up for several volunteer projects. Do you think I can learn French over the summer?
What is everyone else doing on their school break?
I am working full time at my kids' day care center. I plan to read for pleasure, lay in the sun, hang out with my family and enjoy life a little. But I also need to stay on top of my studies so I don't forget too much over the summer. I might get a CNA job so I can stay in practice, too!
I've got this summer mostly off, and then nursing school in the Fall/Spring/Summer (3 semesters in a row) and then I'm off until Spring (other than NCLEX prep) and then I start the LPN to RN prog for Spring/Summer/Fall and I'll be done by Christmas 2010. Seems like a million years away, but thankfully I'll have atleast 1 semester a year off.
I am so envious of you guys with time off!!!! I'm year round and only get 2 weeks off between semesters. On my summer break I am taking Advanced IV math, and Lab Interpretation (short 2 day classes). AND still working as an extern. Oh the days of reading books for fun, going to the beach, watching movies....need I go on? lol.....almost there! 1 more year!
FT Extern, FT other job, RN-BSN course, studying for the NCLEX, prepping for my fourth semester of my ADN program. Anyone else having to look up a million meds along with some other busy work?
I wish my ADN program was year round, then I would not have to be working two jobs and take other courses... I can hurry up and graduate! Those without summer breaks, do not envy us... Two weeks is enough for me, I never get that much time over the summer anyway. Thankfully this is my last summer as an ADN Student Nurse!
I am studying and taking the NCLEX-RN, then taking it easy until I start in the OR on July 21st.
Of course, I'll be reading from my OR Standards book trying to get ready to start my internship. :)
I already have all of the non-nursing courses for my BSN out of the way, so it's just kicking back and reading OR stuff after the NCLEX.
