What scrubs do you like best?

Published

I know there are probably a lot of threads on this topic, but my computer won't pick up any of the current threads.. only ones from 2007, 2008.

I'm thinking I might want cargo pants to hold things and I have to wear all navy blue. Also I am 5'4 and 125 pounds. Sometimes scrub pants are too long, but the petites are oftentimes too short :(

What are the current, cutest fitting scrubs with practicality as well?

IguanaMed have to be my favorite of all brands I've tried. I have Landau, Cherokee and others but IguanaMed have been the most comfortable for me with all the bending, squatting, kneeling, etc. Fit is nice, have not only elastic waist but have the drawstring as well together. They come out of the dryer wrinkle free and require no ironing.

ditto for me. So hard to find lately, though. I've tried most, but these are by far my favs -- well worth the cost. Besides, my carmine pink set is lucky! I often get called off when my plan is to wear these. Kinda has become the joke of my unit, but hey, don't mess with success! :lol2:

I'm 5'1 and have the same problem with length - regular inseam is a tad too long, petites are a tad too short. My favorite, favorite scrub pants are actually the flared Simply Basic brand ones from Wal-Mart. They're just the right length - I let them air dry because I'm too scared they'd shrink up lol, but I love the way they fit. I had to buy ceil blue scrubs for my new job today, and I found that Simply Basic does not have any flared pants in that color, so I went to a scrubs store and tried on literally every pair of ceil blue pants they had. I ended up buying Urbane, as they were the right length (medium petite) and had the best fit overall, though the crotch is a bit long. The lady at the store said Urbane pants will shrink up in length though, so I plan on air drying them as well. She told me usually if they hit the top of your foot, then you need to get a longer inseam so they won't be too short when you wash/dry them, and if they're touching the floor when you try them on they'll be just the right length after the first wash/dry. Hope this helps.

I really dont go by name brand..if I like it, I buy it.

I absolutely love Grey's Anatomy. Practically everyone on my unit wears them. They are great, they are like PJs and are still comfy after working 12+ hours.

We have to wear all white:eek:, so I too wanted something cute as well as the cargo pants that you can't see through. So, I bought the brand "koi" I love them they have a couple different looks that you could go with. I also bought sketcher's they are cute as well. And both sets come in different colors. I am 5'4" so the longs are too long and petite's are too short so luckily they have them in regular length which is perfect. I also bought the Dansko clog which is completely closed in but they have the feel of a clog, they are about 1 -1/2 " high so they help with any of the pants that would be too long.

I like Cherokee Workwear.

I don't like Dickies at all. They run so small and are oddly proportioned, in my opinion.

Believe it or not, I also like the kind Wal Mart carries. I think they are nicely made and I like the material.

I used to like the SoftScrubs house brand by Uniform City, but they are no longer produced. I saw another company uses the Soft Scrubs name but I do not know if they are the same. I recently bought some Uniform Advantage Butter Soft scrubs. The pants pockets are too shallow, everything falls out of them. The material keeps wrinkles from the dryer, I don't like to iron. So, I will look for another favorite brand the next time I buy scrubs.

Koi, makes the most fashionable scrubs. I like feeling like I'm not wearing boring scrubs, or crazy cartoon print.
