What is your school's grading scale like?

Published

Just curious what other schools grading scales are like.

I'm in an RN program.

94-100= A

93-89= B

82-88= C

Anything under an 82% even an 81.9999999 is failing :(

That's about what mine is. One C could ruin your chances.

I was surprised to see mine is the usual

90 - 100 = A

80-89 = B

etc

76-84 = c

85-91 = b

92+ = a

92-100= A

83-91= B

75-82= C

But my school is trying to change the grading system so is normal (ex: 90-100=A)

Mine is normal A (90-100) etc. but our grades are weighted.

60% of our grades come from tests, 25% from homework etc. Anything less than 80% is failing

At my university, ours is close to yours, except 93-100 is an A. It sucks, because my nutrition professor made her grading scale like nursing so whenever I'd get a 90, I'd be happy for a second until realizing its a B! Lol

Anything below a 79% is failing for our school. I finished last semester with a 78%.....so lucky me gets to repeat :/

My school's grading scale is very similar- specifically in the Sciences. Some professors grade on the regular scale though. I'm not sure about our SON though, so I'll find out in the fall.

94-100= A 87-93= B 80-86= C anything below 80 is failing

We have the 90-100=A, etc but you have to have a 76% to move onto the next semester and they don't round up. So a 75.9% means you're repeating.
