What would you rather do than go into work this weekend?

The title says it all, what would you rather do than go into work this weekend? Although I do feel fortunate to have my job, I have to report to work at 1900 this evening and I'm not particularly looking forward to it!

I was off all last weekend due to being extremely ill, and that's just making it that much more difficult to wrap my head around the idea of putting on my scrubs tonight and driving to work to face my fate..

Here's what I'd rather be doing:

1. Sleeping

2. Eating dinner with my family

3. Cleaning (yes, I've stooped THAT low)

4. Watching movies with my friends

5. Just relaxing.

I normally enjoy working on the weekends, but this week I'm finding it to be such a drag…. :p

2) Sit with my toddlers who due to full time work and overtime I havnt seen a lot of the past month :(

I will be at clinical this weekend on the psych ward. I actually rather be at work.

I'd much rather win a multimillion dollar lottery jackpot. The winnings would be enough so that I would never have to work as a bedside nurse again. The money would ensure that I would no longer have to deal with difficult patients, pushy families, unrealistic managers, and condescending doctors. If only I could get my hands on a winning lottery ticket!

Since I've become unable to work...there is no place I'd rahter be but at work.

I am unemployed, so I would rather be at work, too. BUT, I would rather be in a pool, floating on my back, in ARUBA.

THat being said, I am glad that this weekend is my "off" weekend!

I must say, that I love my job and I'm so thankful for it, but I'm totally just not feelin' it this weekend! lol :lol2::D

Esme, I'm sure I've read it somewhere on here before....but would you mind reminding me why you can't work anymore? Did you have back issues?

I also feel very fortunate to have the job I have, however, rather than waking up at 5:20am on my workdays, I sometimes feel that I'd rather be:

1)Socializing with friends

2)Hiking

3)taking random road trips to places I've never been to

3)Riding the am-Buh-LANCE
