It is part-time because anything not 40 hours/week is technically considered part-time.

That depends on the facility. I work 36 hours (3- 12 hour shifts) and it's full-time.

Where I work, Part-Time nurses need at least 32 hours per pay period, so they're scheduled one 12-hour shift one week, then two 12-hour shifts the next week, so that's a possibility.

I would think its 36 hours per pay period over the night shift.

Where I work less than 32 hours a week is part time hours.

At my facility 36 hours is considered full time but to answer your questions I would think it means (3) 12 hour shifts on nights.

it may mean 3 shifts a two week pay period, which is definitely part-time without benefits. most full-time nursing positions are 6 shifts a pay period (36 hours each week to total 72 hours a pay period).

THANK YOU YALL!!!!
