I'm a junior at Walla Walla College in Portland, OR. The main campus is in Walla Walla, WA. Only nursing majors are on the Portland campus, and it's great because of the small size. We have about 80 nursing students (juniors and seniors). It's a 7th day Adventist college (although I'm not Adventist). I think we have the best, most supportive staff. They really want you to succeed, and bend over backwards to help you. Anyway, I love my school and think that this is the best one in Portland (we have 4 BSN programs).
OMG!!! You went to school with me! Class of December 03! We got JACKED for 2 whole years of school. Now we need to enroll in a REAL school to learn 2 years worth of school. :rotfl:
:roll
OMG!!!! Did you sit behind me?? :chair: I thought I was the only one that didn't learn anything for 2 years!! I went to Bootleg Community College and Majored in being "JACKED!" :imbar
No, No, No....Your test won't consist of anything we have covered in lecture, notes, the 25 textbooks that we require you to buy, nclex books....Just from the entire internet Do your best to study all the material under "nursing" when you do a search from yahoo, google, and altavista.com!!!
Just accepted to St. Joseph Hospital School of Practical Nursing! 17 month "flex-time" program begins September 2004, has the summer off and ends March 2006.
Don't know why they call it "flex-time"??? It's 6 hours/day, 4 days/week and they told me to expect 2 hours study time for every class hour!!!!! That means I'll be attending school 24 hours/week and studying 48 hours/week!!!
Anyway, I am very fortunate to be accepted. They take 70 new students and have already received 700 applications. It's first qualified, first admitted. Luckily I applied in November and took the entrance test on the first date it was offered!
