Question? I'm doing a project on the middle age adult and one of the questions I must address says, Identify special health related needs for someone in this age group? I came up with hypertension, coronary artery disease, stroke, various kinds of cancer, asthma, impaired vision and hearing, AIDS, obesity, arthritis, and osteoporosis. Did I answer this question correct? Also what kind of interventions can I do as a nurse to assist the middle age adult? Thanks for any type of help!

Yes, according to Erikson. I put in the wrong question. It suppose to say, Identify special health related needs for the middle age adult? Sorry about that. Is this question talking about some of the diseases that affect the middle age adult?

I wasn't aware that AIDS was for Middle age, I thought AIDS was more prevalent in younger people??
